GENERAL QUESTIONS

  • UP! Ultimate Adventure Park is a 17k sq. ft. indoor family-oriented adventure park located in Ashburn, VA. We offer a variety of fun, engaging activities for children and families, including 36 themed climbing walls, ropes course with a zipline, 3 slides and a cargo net, a vibrant arcade, and more. We also have five party rooms for celebrations and special events.

  • While walk-ins are welcome, we cannot guarantee space and recommend booking tickets online in advance, especially on weekends and holidays, to ensure availability.

  • We are conveniently located in Ashburn, VA, easily accessible from Route 7. For a map and directions, go here.

  • We’ll do our best to stay open during snowy weather because climbing walls and cargo nets are way more fun than shoveling a driveway! That said, safety is always our top priority—both yours and our team’s. Before heading out, check our online booking system; if you can book a session, we’re open and ready for action. If not, we’re closed for the day, likely enjoying hot cocoa and hoping for sunnier skies.

    We’ll post any closures on our website and social media channels as soon as we make the call, so follow us for updates. If we close and you already have a booking, don’t worry—we’ll help you reschedule or issue a credit. If the weather clears up and it’s safe to reopen later in the day, we’ll update the booking system and let everyone know on social media. Above all, if the roads look unsafe, stay cozy and safe at home. UP! will be ready for your next adventure when the weather improves!

  • Before heading out into the winter wonderland, check to see if you can book your session online. If you’re able to snag a spot, we’re open and ready for action! If not, it means we’re closed for the day—likely sipping hot cocoa and dreaming about scaling new heights under sunny skies. Any closures due to weather will be decided by 8 AM, so be sure to check back early!

  • If conditions improve and we decide it’s safe to reopen, we’ll update the booking system on our website and spread the word on social media. Keep checking in—we don’t want you to miss out on the fun!

PARTIES AND EVENTS

  • Absolutely! We have five party rooms perfect for celebrations of all sizes. Our party packages include private access to a party room, activities, food options, and a dedicated host to ensure your event is a success. Visit our Parties & Events page for more information and to book your event.

  • We recommend booking at least 4-6 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date and time, especially during peak seasons.

  • Yes, you are welcome to bring your own decorations and birthday cake or treats.

  • To secure a party reservation, we require a minimum of 10 guests. This ensures we can provide the best experience for your group.

  • Reservations become non-refundable within 14 days of the scheduled event. Within the 14-day cancellation policy window, you may reschedule your event to another available date and time within 90 days of your original reservation. Please contact us to make arrangements.

  • We understand that plans can change and kids get sick. If you add more than the required 10 guests and any of these additional guests are unable to attend, we’ll gladly provide a refund for those individuals after the party.

  • Yes, you can reschedule your party to a later date (within 90 days of your original reservation) even if it’s within the 14-day cancellation policy window. Please contact us to make arrangements.

  • To cancel or reschedule, please reach out to our team as soon as possible. We’ll work with you to accommodate your needs based on our policies.

WAIVERS AND SAFETY

  • Yes, all participants must complete a Safety & Liability Waiver before engaging in any activities. Waivers can be completed online in advance or at the park upon arrival.

  • Safety is our top priority. All guests are provided with safety equipment, including harnesses for climbing. Our staff is fully trained to guide and assist participants, and our facility is regularly inspected to ensure all equipment is in excellent condition.

  • Yes, our staff undergoes extensive training to ensure that all safety protocols are followed, and they are always available to assist participants with any concerns.

  • All climbers receive a short orientation session covering safety and belaying. We have 36 different indoor climbing walls, which have been constructed for every level of ability.

  • We understand that not everyone is comfortable with heights. Our staff is trained to provide guidance and support to help ease any fears. Participants can choose activities at their own comfort level, and there are plenty of other attractions, such as the arcade and slides, to enjoy if climbing isn’t your thing.

  • While our staff is always on hand to ensure the safety of all participants, we recommend that parents or guardians supervise children under the age of 12 during their visit. Parents are also welcome to join in the activities or relax in our lounge area or at the cafe while their children play.

  • In a traditional climbing gym, a guest would need to be belayed by a friend or an instructor to ensure the climber comes down off the wall in a controlled and safe manner. Up! utilizes a state-of-the-art, hydraulic automatic belay systems which eliminates the need for a human belayer and enables even the youngest of guests to take control of their own climbing. The automatic belay retracts as your child climbs under their own strength, and lowers them to the ground gently once they reach their limit. While our system does provide our youngest guests with a level of freedom, active adult supervision is required for any child under the age of 12 to climb.

PRICING AND MEMBERSHIPS

  • Ticket prices vary based on the the length of time you wish to spend at the park. Visit our Buy Tickets page for a full breakdown of ticket options and pricing.

  • Yes, we offer memberships for families who want to visit frequently. We offer Seasonal passes (3 months) as well as an Annual option. Click on the Buy Tickets button at the top of our page and then select Memberships.

  • We offer group rates (10 or more, when scheduled in advance), as well as a 20% discount on general admission and memberships to our friends in the military, first responders and teachers. You must buy tickets in-person and present valid identification to receive the discount.

ACTIVITIES AND ATTRACTIONS

  • Our park features themed climbing walls, ropes course, slides, a cargo net, and an arcade. There's something for everyone to enjoy!

  • UP! offers fun and excitement for kids and adults of all ages! Kids 3 and under enjoy free admission with each paid ticket—one paid admission is required for each free child 3 and under. This policy applies to general admission only and does not extend to party bookings or private events. If you're ready for adventure, we've got something for you!

  • Yes! Many of our activities, including the climbing walls, are open to adults who want to join in on the fun. Our auto-belay system can handle a maximum weight of 250 lbs, so most adults can climb.

  • Yes, each ticket includes a designated playtime. Check our Pricing & Packages page for more details.

ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS

  • We recommend wearing comfortable, athletic shoes and clothing. Closed toe shoes  - no sandals, Crocs or flip-flops are allowed on the climbing walls or ropes course.

  • Yes, we have ample parking available on-site for all our guests.

FOOD AND DRINK

  • Yes, we have a full-service kitchen offering a variety of food and beverage options, including pizza, snacks, and healthier alternatives. No outside food is permitted, with the exception of cakes for events held in our party rooms.

  • Outside food is not permitted in the facility, with the exception of treats and cakes for parties.

  • While we do our best to accommodate dietary needs, our kitchen is not certified allergen-free. We do not prepare peanut products in our kitchen. However, we may offer peanut products, which will be pre-packaged and clearly labeled. You can see an overview of our menu and allergens, here.

  • We advise guests with severe allergies to exercise caution when consuming any food from our kitchen. Our facility may contain traces of allergens despite our efforts to prevent cross-contamination. For more questions or concerns about food allergies, feel free to contact us before your visit.   • Our in-house cafe offers everything from pizzas and salads to hummus, chicken tenders and more.

ACCESSIBILITY

  • Yes, our first-floor party room is fully wheelchair accessible, featuring barrier-free entryways and spacious layouts to accommodate mobility devices. You will have an option to request our ADA Party room during the event booking process. Please reach out to our event coordinator to discuss any other specific needs or accommodations. We are dedicated to ensuring your experience is enjoyable and accessible!

  • Yes, accessible restrooms equipped with ADA-compliant features, including grab bars and appropriate fixtures, are located near the party room.

  • Yes, we offer designated accessible parking spaces close to the entrance, ensuring a convenient path to the party room.
